FALMOUTH – A car struck a utility pole in Falmouth shortly before 11 a.m. Monday. The crash happened in front of 63 Central Avenue. The driver, reported to be an 18-year-old woman, was taken to Falmouth Airpark to meet a MedFlight helicopter for transport to Rhode Island Hospital trauma center in Providence. The pole was snapped and Eversource was requested to replace it. The crash is under investigation by Falmouth Police.
