COTUIT – A two-vehicle crash left one driver trapped. The crash happened on Falmouth Road (Route 28) at the Mashpee town line. Firefighters had to extricate one of the drivers using the Jaws of Life. Three people were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Route 28 was closed while the scene was worked. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
