Driver trapped, seriously injured after Falmouth crash

– A 21-year-old North Falmouth man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in North Falmouth around 1:15 a.m. The 2010 Mercedes sedan left Old Main Road and rolled over ending up on its roof in the woods. Firefighters spent over an hour using the Jaws of Life to free the driver. The victim was taken to the nearby North Falmouth Elementary School where a MedFlight helicopter had been summoned to airlift him to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. The crash is under investigation by Falmouth Police.
