YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Tuesday at 7 PM, officers were dispatched to 47 Ivanhoe Road for a report of disturbance.
Upon arrival at the residence Police Officers observed an intoxicated Daniel Whelden, 56, of Yarmouth commit assault and battery on another person and placed him under arrest.
Whelden—who has 63 prior charges in Massachusetts—was processed at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and held overnight on $500 cash bail.
Whelden was transported to the Barnstable District Court Wednesday morning for arraignment.
