BOURNE – Firefighters were called to 34 Howard Avenue around 3 AM after smoke was reported. Crews found a fire in a second floor bedroom. Officials say a faulty air conditioner may have been to blame. Mutual aid covered Bourne fire stations during the incident. No injuries were reported.
