Eastham Police to offer Citizens Police Academy

EASTHAM – On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, and continuing for 10 weeks, the Eastham Police will be conducting the 8th session of their Citizen Police Academy at the Eastham Police facility. Participants will be introduced to all phases of the police profession as well as the Criminal Justice System.

Beginning in week one with the history of the Eastham Police Department and the administration of the department, the academy will explore topics such as constitutional law issues, police patrol and its function, criminal investigations, specialty units, and use of force and firearms.
