Electrical problem causes smoke in Wellfleet home

WELLFLEET – A report of smoke in the basement of a home in Wellfleet brought a response that included crews from Truro and Eastham. The call came in about 10 p.m. Wednesday evening at 80 Herring River Road. Firefighters reportedly discovered a problem with an electrical transformer in that basement. Crews then had to ventilate the smoke. No injuries were reported.
