…ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL FOR TODAY…
Northwest winds at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph are expected for much of today, along with low humidity. There has also been a lack of significant rainfall for much of southern New England during this past week. This combination will lead to an elevated fire weather potential especially during the hours of 10 AM til 7 PM. Winds should diminish quickly after sunset this evening.
