CAPE COD – Day one of high heat kept EMTs busy. Crews across the Cape responded to a myriad of heat related medical cases. Meanwhile, Eversource has been busy working scattered outages from the heat. As many as 1,000 customers were without power in Falmouth. In Hyannis downed lines forced ambulances to take different routes to Cape Cod Hospital. Sunday promises to be equally hot and humid so stay hydrated.
