CENTERVILLE – A large power outage was reported in Centerville around 8 AM Tuesday. The Eversource Outage Map shows over 3,100 customers lost power. The map indicated equipment damage was the cause of the outage which the utility hopes to restore by 10 AM.
Update: Eversource spokesperson Kyle Costa tells CWN that earlier this morning, approximately 3,100 of their customers in Barnstable experienced a power outage. Power has been restored to all but eight customers. Crews are on-site assessing the cause and will remain in place to complete repairs and restore power to our remaining customers as quickly and safely as possible.
