FALMOUTH – Falmouth Fire Rescue reports that at approximately 8:55 AM Monday morning, Engine 21 was dispatched to 155 Sandwich Road for an oven fire. The Engine arrived to find smoke showing from an occupied 2 family structure. A box was struck, bringing Engines 24 & 25 along with Ladder 26 to the scene. An attack line was advanced, and a 1 room fire on the second floor was quickly knocked down. A working fire assignment was requested, bringing mutual aid station coverage from the Joint Base Cape Cod and Mashpee Fire Departments. Additionally, the Cotuit FD responded to a medical call in Falmouth during the fire. There were no injuries, and the fire is currently under investigation.
