FALMOUTH – The Falmouth Police Dept. is hosting National Night Out (nationwide community crime watch event) on August 4, 2015 between the hours of 6pm-8pm at Falmouth Police Headquarters. All of Falmouth’s Crime Watch groups as well as the general citizenry are welcome to attend. Among other things, the event will include tours of the police station, activities for children including face painting, and a “Dunk-a-Cop” dunk tank. Also, there will be a K-9 demonstration and displays of equipment. There will be representatives from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Dept, Falmouth Fire Dept., Falmouth Marine & Environmental Services, Falmouth Prevention Partnership, and the Falmouth Senior Center. Furthermore, there will be free food, refreshments, and ice cream served for those in attendance.
