Falmouth Police update search for driver who struck pedestrian and fled

FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police are still looking for a Buick Enclave that may have been involved in the Hit & Run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian on Friday evening. The Buick Enclave should be missing the “rear bumper insert” (located in the middle of the rear bumper) and may have front end and/or undercarriage damage. The attached picture of a Buick Enclave is an example only—it is not a picture of the suspect vehicle. The color of the suspect vehicle is unknown at this time.

Previous story: Falmouth Police report that on Friday at approximately 9:10 PM, they responded to a call regarding an injured pedestrian lying in the roadway near the intersection of Nobska Road and Oyster Pond Road. The 24-year-old Falmouth man was rushed to the Falmouth Hospital by Falmouth Fire Rescue with serious injuries. He was subsequently transported to a Boston area hospital for further treatment. The vehicle involved fled the scene but police are looking into whether a 2013-2017 Buick Enclave may have been involved. Falmouth Police added that A “rear bumper insert” from the Buick Enclave was found at the scene.  Also, the vehicle may have sustained front end and/or undercarriage damage.
