BOSTON, MA – The suspect accused of shooting two Falmouth police officers last Friday was arraigned in his hospital bed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston Tuesday morning. Malik Koval pleaded not guilty, and was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
Koval was charged with disturbing the peace, two counts of assault to murder, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and carrying a firearm without a license.
The two police officers who were shot on Ashley Court in Falmouth are expected to fully recover.
