MASHPEE – Firefighters rushed to 33 Ships Anchor Drive around 7:30 PM after reported of a fire in the basement. Officials arrived to find smoke pouring from the basement of the ranch style home. Crews were able to enter and determine the oil burner was malfunctioning causing the smoke which was ventilated. The occupants evacuated and were not injured.
