YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Sunday at approximately 1:00AM they received an OnStar report of a motor vehicle rollover crash near the intersection of Union Street and White Rock Road in Yarmouthport.

Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officer Ryan Murphy arrived at the scene and found a female operator trapped inside her Chevrolet Cruze.

Members of the Yarmouth Fire department arrived and were able to successfully remove the driver from the vehicle.

The driver, Allison Coreen Mullaney, 21, of Yarmouth Port was fortunately not injured and the use of her seatbelt was critical to her survival. She declined to be transported to CCH.

Officer Murphy and fellow midnight shift Patrol Officers found Mullaney to be intoxicated and placed her under arrest for operating under the influence of liquor, operating negligently to endanger, marked lanes violation and speed greater than reasonable. The vehicle was towed and impounded.

Mullaney was booked at YPD Headquarters and subsequently released on Personal Recognizance after paying $40 bail fee. She was due to be in the Barnstable District Court on Monday for arraignment.
