TRURO – A fire broke out on the trash hopper at the Truro Transfer Station Saturday afternoon. Firefighters from Truro and Wellfleet responded to the 115 Route 6 location about 12:40 p.m. Flames had spread to a trailer before being knocked down. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation but it does not appear suspicious.
