SANDWICH – Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free a driver after a crash in Sandwich Tuesday evening. The crash happened around 9:20 PM Tuesday on Cotuit Road near Quaker Meeting House Road. The driver’s injuries were not life-threatening. Sandwich Police are investigating the crash and reportedly charged the driver with operating under the influence of liquor.
