MASHPEE – Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire in Mashpee early Saturday evening. Mashpee and Sandwich crews responded to 13 Lake Avenue to find smoke showing from the roof. A fire in the ceiling was quickly put out. No injuries were reported. The fire was not considered suspicious.
