Firefighters use Jaws of Life at Hyannis crash


HYANNIS
– Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free a driver after a two-vehicle crash in Hyannis. The crash happened about 7 PM at the intersection of Bassett Lane and Stevens Street. It appeared a Ford Transit Connect collided with a Mitsubishi Mirage sedan. The driver of the sedan was extricated and taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening. The driver of the Transit Connect was not injured. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
