HARWICH – At approximately 11:50 AM, Harwich Fire-Rescue and Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with unknown injuries and air bag deployment on Route 137 at Pleasant Bay Road. An apparent rear-end collision between a Jeep Renegade and Subaru Forester wagon resulted in a total of five patients being evaluated by medics with all refusing further medical treatment or transportation to the hospital. Both vehicles were made safe by firefighters and Harwich Police directed busy traffic around the accident scene, until the vehicles could be towed. Harwich Police are in charge of the investigation.
