FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police reported that a dead body was found Thursday afternoon in a wooded area of East Falmouth.
The body was discovered around 1 pm off of Barrows Road in East Falmouth.
The victim has not been identified.
Police believe the death is the result of an apparent drug overdose.
The Falmouth Police, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Cape & Islands District’s Office, and the Office of the Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the incident.
