WELLFLEET – A four-vehicle crash happened on Route 6 in Wellfleet shortly before noon in front of the Wellfleet Motel not far from the Eastham town line. Wellfleet Police tell CWN all of the vehicles were headed west when one failed to stop causing a chain reaction. Five people were evaluated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Three of the victims were taken to Cape Cod Hospital. Traffic was reduced to one lane with westbound traffic diverted onto West Road while the crash was worked. Wellfleet Police are investigating.
