YARMOUTH – A portion of the fire sprinkler system at Yarmouth Town Hall burst Saturday night as temperatures plummeted into the lower teens. The Yarmouth Fire Department responded to an alarm activation to find water on several floors including the basement of the building. Crews were working to pump out and sweep water out of the building. Power was cut to the building after computer components began smoking in some areas. Crews were assessing the total amount of damage which is considered extensive.
