SANDWICH – Firefighters were called out after a natural gas odor was reported in Sandwich sometime before 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning. A frozen valve on a line near Route 130 and the Service Road was apparently to blame. The line is reportedly operated by Spectra Energy. Fire crews stood by until company technicians could arrive and fix the problem.
