Funeral services held for Mashpee man killed in Cotuit crash

MASHPEE – Kevin Quinn, the Mashpee man who was killed in a head-on crash in Cotuit last week, in Cotuit, was laid to rest on Monday. Funeral services were held at Christ the King Parish in Mashpee attended by friends family and co-workers. Solo motorcycle riders and U.S. Marine veterans also took part in the ceremony lining the road in front of the church and along Route 151. Friends remembered him as a loving and caring man who will be greatly missed. Following the funeral burial services took place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

Quinn was killed on July 28th when a vehicle allegedly being pursued by Mashpee Police veered into his lane and collided head-on. He was returning home from Cape Cod Hospital after visiting his wife and newborn baby. The other driver Manuel Rivera was also killed and a passenger in his vehicle, Jocelyn Goyette passed away a few days later in a hospital. Mashpee Police have opened an internal investigation into the incident according to Police Chief Scott Carline.
