YARMOUTH – A garbage truck struck a bridge in Yarmouth shortly after 7 a.m. The crash happened on Union Street between the Route 6 exit 8 overpasses. The driver was not injured but firefighters had to mitigate a large hydraulic oil spill. An inspector was called to check the bridge. Traffic on Union Street was heavily backed up in the area.
