FALMOUTH – A section of Falmouth Heights Road was closed after a gas line was struck by a construction crew shortly before 3:30 p.m. Firefighters stood by until the leak could be capped by National Grid personnel. This incident comes a day after a similar one in Hyannis. It is not clear if Dig Safe was contacted in either instance as required by law.
