JOINT BASE CAPE COD – A construction crew struck a gas main at Joint Base Cape Cod around 11 AM Wednesday. The incident happened on Weaver Road. Officials shut down the road and evacuated the area as a precaution. Firefighters put out a hose line to keep the vapors down until National Grid could respond. No injuries were reported.
