SANDWICH – A construction crew struck a gas main in Sandwich late Thursday morning. Firefighters were called to the area of 217 Old Main Street about 11:30 a.m. to find an active leak from a 2-inch line. The area was cordoned off until National Grid could respond to cap the leak. No injuries were reported.
