Generous donation to asssist battling the opiate epidemic

CAPE COD – For approximately a year, Cape Cod law enforcement, consisting of the local police agencies, State Police, the Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s office have worked diligently to put Narcan in the hands of officers to provide life-saving treatment for those undergoing opiate overdoses. Officers have been trained, Narcan has been deployed and administered and lives have been saved.

The partnership with Gosnold on Cape Cod, a provider of addiction and mental health services, has been reaffirmed and improved upon to address this problem. Gosnold brings expertise, training and a collaboration to those in need.

We want to thank our most recent partner, the Lyndon Paul Lorusso Charitable Foundation for their generous donation of $10,000 to fund the purchase of Narcan for all Cape law enforcement agencies.
