Harwich firefighters douse grill fire

HARWICH – The Harwich Fire Department responded to 205 Sisson Road around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a gas grill fire.

All units were committed at a serious accident in East Harwich and the initial response was the Chief, Deputy and an Engine from Dennis.

On arrival personnel found a gas grill burning and the cylinder had vented. Fortunately the owner had not placed the grill near the house and only the deck sustained some minor damage.
