Harwich firefighters respond to early morning smoke condition

HARWICH – Harwich firefighters responded to reports of smoke in a home early Monday morning, with reports of a woman in a wheelchair possibly stuck inside.

On arrival at 68 Beriah Brook Road, smoke had already begun to dissipate and there was no visible sign of fire.

The woman in the wheelchair was brought outside and did not appear to be injured.
