HARWICH – Firefighters used the good weather this week to get some valuable training in Harwichport.
The old Dino’s block is ready for demolition, and Harwich Captain Joseph Mayo, the Departments training officer,
worked closely with the contractor to arrange for the training opportunity.
Firefighters practiced forcible entry, roof ventilation, wall breaching and many other skills.
Buildings being torn down allow firefighters this opportunity because the owners are not concerned about the damage caused.
