HARWICH
– Tonight at the Selectmen’s Meeting six members of the Harwich Fire Department and two Harwich police officers were recognized for a cardiac arrest save that occurred in July. While this effort may be expected by some, it is worthy of recognition as everyone from the dispatcher at the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office, the family and Harwich Police and Fire did exactly what needed to be done to save a life. Early CPR and defibrillation matter.
