HARWICH – The annual Harwich Police Association Jailhouse Barbecue was held Saturday outside the Public Safety Building on Sisson Road. A huge crowd was treated to hamburgers, hot dogs, and chowder prepared by Harwich’s finest. The children were able to dunk a police officer, sit on a motorcycle, or pat the farm animals. The event is the HPD Associations way of thanking the community for their thoughts and cooperation throughout the past year.
