SOUTH YARMOUTH – A small fire in a storage shed next to the maintenance building at Bass River Golf Course off Highbank Road was brought off quickly under control by the Yarmouth Fire and Rescue. When Fire Chief Philip Simonian discovered the shed was full of chemicals used for maintenance at the golf course he called for a Tier 1 Hazmat response as a precaution.
