FALMOUTH – Two vehicles collided head-on in Falmouth shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday evening. The crash happened on Waquoit Highway (Route 28) at Whistler Way when a Dodge Charger and a Ford Focus collided. Firefighters had to extricate both drivers from the wreckage. Both were taken to Falmouth Hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening. Route 28 was closed in the area while the scene was worked. The crash is under investigation by Falmouth Police.
