HARWICH – Harwich Police and Fire responded to a head-on crash on Route 137 shortly before 1 p.m. A GMC Arcadia was taking a left onto the east ramp to Route 6 and allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic causing a Toyota Tacoma to smash into the right passenger side of the SUV. A third vehicle could not avoid the collision and suffered minor damage.
Two females in the Arcadia were transported to Cape Cod Hospital by the Harwich Fire and Rescue with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation by Harwich Police.
