CAPE COD – Easterly winds gusting over 50 MPH combined with drenching rains led to scattered power outages across the Cape. Downed tree limbs were the main culprit. As of midnight, the largest outage was in Sandwich with over 1,400 Eversource customers in the dark. About 275 were out in Bourne with about 250 out in Dennis. Line crews were working to restore service.
