HYANNIS – Many well wishers stopped by the Hyannis Fire Station. Lieutenant John Cosmo was retiring after more than 30 years on the job. During his career he held many titles, including Fire Prevention Officer, Shift Lieutenant, Honor Guard member and leader, Local 2172 executive board member, and FEMA team member.
As part of the festivities, Yarmouth Firefighters brought a cake over to the station.
