Worcester MA- Hyannis Firefighter Barry Pina was awarded the “Norman Knight” community service award for his service involving youth programs, safety, and as a member of the Barnstable County Critical Incident Stress Team. Pina has been a firefighter for over 32 years and was also recognized for teaching CPR to anyone that needed to become certified, regardless of the date, time, or location. Pina has also help raise $300, 000. For Muscular Distrophy as a “Fill The Boot” coordinator. Pina was joined at Mechanics Hall in Worcester by 35 plus members of the Hyannis Fire Department.
