HYANNIS – Hyannis Firefighters report that Sunday evening members of C-Shift were called to the rescue of some ducklings that fell into a storm drain. On arrival they found mama duck standing guard on top of the drain. The cover was removed and FF Mendes was able to fish all 8 ducklings out using 2 shovels. Once out all of the ducklings quickly rejoined their mother and disappeared into the nearby woods.
