Hyannis man charged with Fentanyl possession

YARMOUTH – On Tuesday August 22, 2017 at 2:04 PM Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officer Sean Geary stopped a Ford truck for being uninspected as it pulled into Cumberland Farms in West Yarmouth.

The operator was identified as Dennis Caron. The passenger who was not wearing seat belt was identified as Justin E. Parietti, 31, of Hyannis. Back up Officer Matt Sheehan arrived on scene and Officers subsequently found Parrieti in possession of 9 unmarked white pills and a glassine bag of heroin/fentanyl.

Parrieti was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class B substance (Fentanyl) and transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters. He was bailed on personal recognizance with a $40 Bail Commissioner fee and was scheduled for arraignment in the Barnstable District Court Wednesday.
