HYANNIS – A section of Pleasant Street in Hyannis was closed for a time after a large hydraulic oil spill from a truck shortly before 8 AM Wednesday morning. Hyannis Fire called for absorbent material to soak up the oil in the section of the road between Main and South Streets. Barnstable DPW responded to assist while Barnstable Police rerouted traffic.
