BOURNE – Inmates from the Barnstable County Correctional Facility recently helped the Bourne’s Council on Aging move back into its familiar office space at the town’s Community Center in Buzzards Bay. Frigid winter temperatures caused a pipe to burst, and the flooding that ensued forced the council to move elsewhere in the building while repairs were made. The inmate labor savings was approximately $2,000.
