CHATHAM – An inert rifle grenade was discovered at a construction site at 121 Queen Anne Road in Chatham Wednesday morning.
Workers immediately cleared out and called Chatham Police.
Police called the Mass State Police Bomb Squad who determined the grenade was inert and safely disposed of it.
