YARMOUTH – Inmate work crews dispatched by Barnstable County Sheriff Jim Cummings this week put the final touches on a boardwalk repair job at Gray’s Beach in Yarmouth. Sections of the ¼-mile walkway were badly damaged during last winter’s storms. The inmate crews saved Yarmouth’s Department of Natural Resources approximately $6,500 in labor costs on a project overseen by Sheriff’s Captain Joe Brait.
