K9 Nero and YPD receive $20,000 from Advanced Embroidery

YARMOUTH
– From Yarmouth Police: “This morning, Sergeant Gannon’s beloved YPD K9 Nero and his devoted partner Peter McClelland made a special visit to Advanced Embroidery in Hyannis to receive a very generous and thoughtful donation.

Through the sales of Gannon Strong shirts, the owners and employees of Advanced Embroidery donated $10,000 to the Cape Cod K9 Relief fund which is designed to help take care of retired Police K9’s on Cape Cod.

In addition, Advanced Embroidery donated another $10,000 to the Yarmouth Police Foundation to help purchase badly needed equipment such a special camera system for our K9 Officers and a badly needed Use of Force Training Simulator for our Police Officers.

We thank everyone for these extraordinary donations as we keep pushing forward to build our support; and bring the changes needed to keep us all safer.

K9 Nero continues to show his resiliency as he stood strong and proud throughout the presentation and is getting healthier every day!”
