WEST YARMOUTH – According to the Yarmouth Police Department, on Thursday around 2 p.m. Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PACU) officers on plain clothes patrol observed a male acting suspiciously while parked in a rear lot at 585 Route 28 in West Yarmouth.
Yarmouth Police Department Drug Enforcement K9 Thor arrived at the scene and indicated positively on the trunk of the vehicle. This resulted in the discovery of nearly one pound of marijuana packaged for distribution.
Carrick Lee Kelley, 25, of South Dennis (photo at right), was placed under arrest, booked at Yarmouth Police Headquarters and bailed. He was due to be arraigned in the Barnstable District Court Friday morning on the charges of felony possession to distribute Class D marijuana.
